Research snapshot, not a live quotation

The bundled snapshot is dated 28 September 2026. Its date identifies the dataset; it is not proof that every rule is current, complete or independently verified. The calculator supports this snapshot date only.

How calculations work

The engine combines the base rate you supply with supported country and product layers and selected fees. It shows assumptions and warnings alongside the result. Classification, origin, exclusions and special regimes must be confirmed separately.

Known gaps

• Some Section 301 coverage is missing. A result can undercount duties.
• Some research rules use simplified additive rates where the legal calculation may differ.
• Specific or compound base duties are not automatically interpreted as simple percentages.
• Refund estimates do not establish eligibility, deadlines or amounts recoverable.
• Historical and future rate coverage is unavailable.

Evidence you should inspect

The bundled research dataset describes the prototype inputs. Confirm relevant measures with USITC, CBP, official notices and a licensed customs broker before acting. These links are verification starting points, not evidence that this prototype has been approved.
